EAGE Workshop on Enhancing Subsurface Practices using AI/ML
Upcoming Event: EAGE Workshop on Enhancing Subsurface Practices Using AI/ML — Curtin University in the Spotlight
Mark your calendars for 10–11 November 2025 in Perth, Australia, as the EAGE Workshop on Enhancing Subsurface Practices Using AI/ML brings together geoscience professionals, researchers, and technologists to explore practical and philosophical approaches to applying machine learning across subsurface exploration, classification, interpretation, and inversion.
The workshop aims to unite diverse perspectives—from academia and industry—to advance our understanding of how machine learning can enhance, not replace, traditional geoscientific insight.
We’re proud to announce that Curtin University is directly engaged in the event’s leadership — with Curtin staff chairing and serving on the committee, representing the university in shaping workshop discussions and outcomes.
This is a unique opportunity to:
- Gain insights from leading experts in AI applications for subsurface geoscience
- Contribute to critical dialogue on what machine learning can—and cannot—teach us
- Help set the agenda for future collaboration between disciplines, institutions, and sectors
Stay tuned for abstract submission deadlines and registration updates.
