Nikita Beloborodov received the prestigious “Laric Hawkins Award” for the most innovative use of a geophysical technique from a paper presented at the conference. The paper titled “A field trial of cross-well seismic with DAS and a high-frequency source” by Nikita Beloborodov, Konstantin Tertyshnikov, Olivia Collet, Roman Isaenkov, Mikhail Vorobev, Pavel Shashkin, Boris Gurevich, and Roman Pevzner. This is a massive achievement given that the award is not limited to papers presented by students or early-career researchers.
